what a weekend!

I don't have any pictures to share, but a lot of things have gone on!

Thursday-Hubby went to work and we went to the neighbors that afternoon to play. Came back at 5:30 and the house was 60 degrees!! I turned up the heat and waited, still nothing, so around 9:45 I called Dan and told him what was going on. He called out of work and came and got us and we stayed the night at a friends house. 

Friday- Got up, called the heater guy, said we were the 2nd call on the list and that it wouldn't be before 10. So we went and ate breakfast at IHOP and came home to a 49 degree house. Fortunately he came around noon so it wasn't too bad. Turns out that there is a leak in the pipes somewhere on the bottom floor that was letting air into the system and it was keeping the hot water from coming through the pipes (old water boiler system). So we closed off the bottom floor and they bled the system and it works soo much better then it did before, almost gets too hot! Dan spent the rest of the day at work and we spend the rest of the day getting the house warm again and enjoying being at home.

Saturday- Went to Target after breakfast since we had to go there and go grocery shopping and that's a lot for one trip. We had planned on getting a Graco Quattro DuoGlide Stroller, but they are going the transition in Infants so they had the old school Graco Duoglide on clearance for $60, which is something that you can't pass up. We went grocery shopping after nap and lunch and that pretty much was the end of the day.

Sunday- We took down all the Christmas ornaments and put the tree away. It's kinda sad not to have it up anymore but it's nice to have that corner of the living room back. I will get to rearranging things back on Tuesday. The best part of the day was that the Ravens and the Eagles won their Wildcard games today!!! The Ravens play the Steelers next weekend so they really don't have a chance but the Eagles play the Giants and they beat them the 2nd time they played in the regular season and the Eagles are on a 4 game winning streak. 

Monday is go out with a couple of friends to celebrate a birthday! This will be the first time that Colleen stays with the neighbors without me being in the house for an extended period of time (2 hours I'm guessing) so that will be a good test for her. I know I'll be fine.
