Well the big hustle and bustle are finally over. We had a great Christmas here. My parents came up and brought all sorts of books and a couple of toys for Colleen and had us pick out some things that they could get us. They are sooo generous! Anyway, I am in the process of listing new items and getting ready to make some Valentines stuff. I hope they turn out as cute as I imagine them to be. I will hopefully get off the computer in a little bit and start work on some small things. I hope everyone had a great day! I will definitely be back tomorrow with my shop of the week (pending a internet cut off that is coming)

Update on December Goals

My shop goals for December are:

1) To have at least 100 hearts by the end of the month--I've got 88 so far!
2) To have at least 5 sales, it is the giving season after all!-- sold 5 things!
3) To not be stressed about anything and have FUN!--DONE
4) Continue to Blog 5 days a week--Kinda slacked off the last week or so :-/
5) Make decisions and get ample stock ready for my January re-doing of my shop…it’s getting a complete makeover!--I've gotten a good bit of stuff, and I've got more in mind just have to get them made..once Christmas is over and I stop knitting presents I'll get more made!

Yippie!

So I got my 2 custom order hats all mailed out yesterday, hopefully they will get there in time. I am continuing to work on the hat for my dad...haven't gotten too far but hopefully I will be able to knit more in the next couple of days. Also, the big news that we have all been waiting for.... the hubby got his PROMOTION!! So now he is a buyer and not just a BIT, he gets monthly bonuses and other cool perks that he didn't have before. The raise is substantial, more then we thought! He has to keep working at Target for at least another month until we see how much he will actually get each check and how that works and hopefully we can either get transferred and CarMax will buy the house (we think) or we can sell the house if we stay here. I've got some great ideas for Valentines Day, AND I have the stuff so I just have to get past Christmas and get some made. Anyway, that's all, gotta keep knitting!

trying to finish 2 custom order hats that I have to get out by Wednesday, hopefully tomorrow...the hubby is off from both jobs from tomorrow morning till Wednesday night so I won't be on again till then!

Bored!

I'm bored out of my mind!I'm cutting out envelopes and watching tv. I am not usually this bored when I do this, but I am today. I am hungry today also, that might have something to do with it. I'll get something else to eat soon, as I already ate "dinner" if you can call it that. I just wish the hubby didn't have to work 2 jobs. I know it won't be like this forever, but it still sucks. Oh well, gonna cut out more envelopes and gift tags, gotta keep up with my schedule so I don't have to work as hard later on. Later!

on another note I have been very productive today and glued the envelopes that I cut out yesterday, and cut some more that will be glued on the next gluing day. I'm sticking to the schedule that I made and that is great! I will have lots of new things to post once the new year comes!

I'm also making a hooded scarf for my mom, and a hat for my dad for Christmas! I started on the scarf for my mom today and will try my hardest to get that done in a timely manner so I can get the hat for my dad done, which should only take a couple of days.

Shop of the Week!

I almost forgot that it is Thursday and that means it's time for Shop of the Week! Finished!

Been working frantically the last couple of days trying to get a christmas hat made for the little princess. I finally finished it earlier today, and I even made it big enough that it fits me, so I hope that she likes it and will wear it every season, for a few years anyway, until it's not "cool" anymore. So here's the princess and the hat!


I also have made something new that I will be selling in my shop come January, but I'm not going to reveal it, it's going to be a surprise!

Update on Nov Goals and December Goals

My shop goals for November were/how I did

1) To have at least 75 hearts by the end of the month I’ve got 77!
2) To have 20 items by the end of the month, 19 is close enough
3) To have at least 5 sales..I’ve already got 1! Only 2 this month
4) To not be stressed about anything and have FUN! No stress
5) Blog 5 days a week (I don’t do etsy stuff when the hubby is off) Done!
